MINX Q & A
How long will my Minx last?
It can depend on several factors but usually Minx on the toe nails lasts anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks depending on your nail growth.
How long does Minx take to dry?
Once Minx is applied to the nail you are ready to go. No drying time is needed.
I have nail extensions – can I get Minx applied to them?
YES – as long as your extensions have been recently done as the nail should be flat from the cuticle to the tip. If there are any gaps the Minx won’t sit properly therefore the seal will be unsuitable.
Will Minx come off in the bath?
No – Minx is applied and removed with heat and with a proper seal is waterproof. Therefore you can soak, lounge and swim to your heart’s content.
Can I remove Minx myself?
YES – this can be done by placing your nails under a heat source such as your hair dryer. Once the Minx is warm, work an edge loose and slowly peels the Minx going from side to side (never top to bottom). Any glue residue can be removed with nail polish remover, immediately after apply a nail moisture to put the nourishment back into your nails.
Minx will not harm your natural nails in any way as there are no chemicals, or harsh filing or drilling used in the application.
AFTTER CARE TIPS
- Apply cuticle oil to keep your nails in tip top condition.
- Be careful not to use the tips of your finger nails as a tool – it will loosen the free edge.
- Wear gloves when using cleaning products – the chemicals remove the design from the foils.
- File your nails very gentle from side to side if you have to – rough filing can loosen the free edge.
